Tasks in i-task are represented by cards on a board. Here you can find a description how they look like and how they are orgnized within columns and boards.
This is the main view of a project. Under project name and description you can find tabs to switch between boards. Every board can be arbitrary splitted into columns.
“Simple board 1″ shown above is splitted into three columns. In the column header you can find a (+) button, which opens a new task editor. In addition, there is a number of tasks counter with target tasks count indicator (if set, as in “Doing” column).
To add a nwe task, click on (+) button to open task editor:
For every task you can assign the following parameters:
- name (title),
- priority (none/low/mid/high),
- size (whatever you wish, i.e:1, 2, 3, 5, 8 ,13 or S, M, L, XL),
Those parameters are visible on the task card as follows:
Top left corner stands for task number (auto-generated for given board) and colour strip which indicates priority (none, green, yellow, red). Top right corner holds owners name with background in user specific color (one can change in his profile). Bottom left corner is a place to show size. Deadline is located in bottom right corner. Title of task is placed in the center of card.
You can simply drag-and-drop to move tasks between columns. Double click on a task opens its editor. Right click expands context menu.
Context menu consists of the following important shortcuts:
- edit a task,
- set current user an owner of a task,
- copy task name to clipboard,
- show task history,
- move task to archive,
- deleta a task.
